The car

Every Nissan Z in Brunei is a two-seat coupé built around the VR30DDTT engine: a 3.0 litre twin-turbocharged V6 producing 298 kW at 6,400 rpm and 475 Nm from 1,600 rpm, per Nissan Brunei's brochure. It drives the rear wheels through either a 6-speed manual or a 9-speed automatic with a manual mode, with launch control and a mechanical limited-slip differential, the first launch control on any Z. It sits on 19-inch wheels with wider tyres at the rear, and is 4,380 mm long.
Inside, the Z has a full digital driver display with a dedicated Sport mode and a three-gauge pod on the dashboard, an 8-inch touchscreen with Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, an 8-speaker Bose sound system, heated front seats with power adjustment, six airbags, a rear-view camera and front and rear parking sensors.

The Heritage Edition

The 400Z Heritage Edition is finished in Midnight Purple, a colour that pays homage to Nissan's performance history. It launched in Brunei in September 2026 at Nissan's showroom in Beribi, during the two-day Nissan Z Fest event. Unlike the Blue Edition, which is automatic only, the Heritage Edition is offered with either the automatic or the manual gearbox.

The catch: the Heritage premium is published as a colour

The Heritage Edition costs B$10,954 more than the standard Nissan Z. The Brunei launch described it only by its Midnight Purple finish, and Nissan Brunei's own Z brochure predates the edition, so no other equipment differences have been published. If you are weighing the Heritage Edition against the standard Z, ask the dealer what the extra B$10,954 includes beyond the paint before you decide.

PMV Brunei 2026: the official dealer price list

The latest edition is the "PASSENGER MOTOR VEHICLES (PMV) PRICES ISSUED BY CAR DEALERS AS OF 20TH AUGUST 2026", a list issued every quarter. Each figure is a ceiling, not the price you will pay: it is set high enough to cover that model and trim with nearly every available option, and banks use it as the upper limit for car loans, so showroom prices usually sit below it. The list can also lag the showroom as new models arrive and others are discontinued. Our full guide to reading the PMV Brunei 2026 list explains what to check before relying on any figure in it.
