Privacy Policy

Overview

AutoPasar has no public accounts. The only personal data we ask for is your email address, and only if you choose to subscribe to our newsletter. Everything else we measure, we measure anonymously, and we designed the system so that we could not identify you from it even if we wanted to.

What we collect

• Newsletter subscription. Only if you subscribe, we store your email address together with a record of your consent: the date and time you subscribed, the IP address and browser the subscription came from, and which page of our site (and, where present, which campaign link) you subscribed on. We keep this so we can send you the newsletter, prove the subscription was genuinely requested, and protect the form from abuse; the page and campaign fields are used only to understand which channels our subscribers come from. We do not record your name, phone number, or location, and we do not track how long you spend on the site.
• Anonymous usage signals. Pages viewed and, once the full platform opens, searches performed, filters applied, and comparison or calculator use, recorded without any identifying information.
• Anonymous contact events. Once the full platform opens: when you tap a showroom contact action (call, directions, website), we count the tap so dealers can see that AutoPasar sent them customers. The count is de-duplicated using a non-reversible daily hash that is deleted within 48 hours; there is no durable device identifier.

Your newsletter data

• Delivery. Your email address is shared with our email delivery provider solely to send the newsletter. It is never sold or shared for any other purpose.
• Unsubscribe. Every email carries an unsubscribe link. When you unsubscribe, we keep a minimal record of that choice so we never email you again.
• Deletion. You can ask us to delete your subscription record entirely at any time via contact us, and we will remove it from our records and from our delivery provider.

What we do not collect

• No names, phone numbers, or postal addresses.
• No account profiles or login history (there are no accounts).
• No durable device fingerprints or advertising identifiers.
• Saved cars live in your own browser's local storage, on your device; they are never sent to our servers as personal data.

Third parties

The site is served through our hosting and content-delivery providers, which process requests (including IP addresses) transiently to deliver pages and to protect the service from abuse. Our newsletter is delivered by our email provider. We also use a privacy-focused product-analytics service to count page views and feature usage: it runs without cookies, stores no identifier on your device, respects your browser's Do Not Track setting, and is configured not to derive location from your IP address. We do not sell or share visitor data with anyone.
