Built in Brunei, for Brunei's car buyers
AutoPasar is an independent platform built by a small team in Brunei who believe buying a car here should not require twenty showroom visits and a month of WhatsApp messages.AutoPasar is an independent platform built in Brunei, so buying a car doesn’t take twenty showroom visits.
How this started
It started with helping family buy a car.
Anyone who has done it knows the routine. Weeks of effort, just to feel confident about one decision. The question became impossible to ignore: why is there no single place where all of this simply exists? So we decided to stop waiting for someone else to build it.Anyone who has bought a car here knows the weeks of effort. Why was there no single place for it all? So we built one.
Showroom to showroom
Driving across town just to collect brochures.
Chasing prices on WhatsApp
Messaging salespeople for prices that should be public.
Photographing price cards
Because there was nowhere to look them up later.
Specs that don't line up
Comparing two cars whose spec sheets did not list the same things.

Every new car sold in Brunei, in one place.
Every brand, every model, every trim. We collect the data ourselves, from the dealers and distributors, car by car, and we make sure the prices on the platform are verified. That is the standard the whole platform is built on.Every brand, model and trim, collected by us from the dealers, with verified prices.
- Verified prices
- Monthly payments
- Full specifications
- Current promotions
- Financing rates
- Every authorised showroom
The obvious question
Why not just ask ChatGPT or Claude? We did.
An AI can only repeat what is already published and for Brunei cars, what is published is the problem. Specs pulled from other countries' versions of the same car. Prices from outdated lists or long-expired promotions. Entire brands missing. Ask about a car sold here and you get a confident answer built on the wrong market.AI tools repeat what’s published, and for Brunei cars that is often wrong: foreign specs, old prices, missing brands.
The fix was never a smarter answer. It was better data collected here, checked here. That is the part we do by hand.
Why it matters to us
Brunei runs on cars.
Most families own several, most decisions about them are big financial decisions and yet almost every tool we use to research anything online is built somewhere else, for someone else. We wanted to change a small corner of that. A platform made in Brunei, for how car buying works in Brunei:Car buying is a big decision, yet most tools are built elsewhere. AutoPasar is made in Brunei, for how buying works here:
If Bruneians find it useful, we will keep building. More tools, more data, more of the online resources this country deserves to have in its own name.If you find it useful, we’ll keep building more tools and more data.
Monthly payments first
Because that is how car buying actually works here.
Islamic financing as the default
Not an afterthought bolted on later.
Every authorised dealer represented
In a market the big platforms will never bother to understand.
Built properly, on purpose
If this was worth doing, it was worth doing right.
We registered a company
Not a weekend side project, a real business you can hold accountable.
Engineering Team on the Build
Designed screen by screen, every page, every click, every detail argued over before it was built.
Months of data collection
Dealer by dealer, brochure by brochure, verified before it went live.
Earning your trust
You are trusting us with one of your family's biggest purchases, and that trust is earned in the details.
Help us build this
Use the platform, and when something is wrong, missing, or confusing, tell us. If there is a feature you wish existed, we want to hear about it; some of our best plans started as someone saying “you know what would be useful?” And if you want to see where this goes from here, follow us on social media. Every follow tells us Brunei wants this to exist, and that means the world to our team.Use the platform and tell us when something is wrong, missing or confusing, or a feature you wish existed. Follow us on social media to see where this goes.
