Honda now sells an electric car in Brunei: the Super-One EV, launched in September 2026 at B$41,800 on-the-road (OTR) with no additional discount. There is no car to buy off the floor, though: the launch display unit has been sold, so the Super-One is pre-order only, with delivery around 5 months from order. Price, warranty and availability confirmed with Honda Brunei (Happy Motoring Co Sdn Bhd) in September 2026.

The car
The Super-One is a city-sized five-door at 3.6 metres long with a 70 kW (95 PS) electric motor, 162 Nm, a 29.6 kWh battery and a brochure-stated driving range of 202 km. DC fast charging from 15 to 80 percent takes about 30 minutes, per the brochure. It leans into character over size: five drive modes including a single-pedal City mode and a Boost mode with a simulated 7-speed transmission and active sound, a BOSE 8-speaker system, a 9-inch touchscreen with Apple CarPlay, Android Auto and Google Assistant, 6 airbags and the Honda Sensing suite with adaptive cruise control and collision mitigation braking. At 202 km of range, it is built for Brunei-scale daily driving rather than long hauls, and home charging is the assumption to plan around.
The catch: the only one in the country has been sold
The Super-One launched on a Brunei showroom floor in September, and that launch display unit has already been sold. As of our verification there is no Super-One in the country to buy, so a booking today is a pre-order with roughly a 5-month wait before delivery. Anyone comparing it against cars they can drive home this month should price the wait into the decision, and confirm the delivery estimate in writing at booking. Within Honda's own showroom, the no-wait alternative is the ZR-V e:HEV, a much larger self-charging hybrid about B$1,000 above the Super-One at its promotional price, though it trades away the charging port entirely.
Warranty
The vehicle warranty is 5 years or 150,000 km, whichever comes first, and the EV battery carries an 8-year warranty, per the dealer.
September's other Japanese EV launch
The Super-One was not the only electric car a Japanese brand launched in Brunei in September 2026: Toyota introduced its first EV here in the same month. For the bigger, longer-range option at a higher price, see the Toyota Urban Cruiser BEV at B$65,200.
The dealer
Honda in Brunei is sold by Happy Motoring Co Sdn Bhd, with the main showroom on Jalan Gadong in Bandar Seri Begawan and a branch in Kuala Belait.

PMV Brunei 2026: the official dealer price list
The latest edition is the "PASSENGER MOTOR VEHICLES (PMV) PRICES ISSUED BY CAR DEALERS AS OF 20TH AUGUST 2026", a list issued every quarter. Each figure is a ceiling, not the price you will pay: it is set high enough to cover that model and trim with nearly every available option, and banks use it as the upper limit for car loans, so showroom prices usually sit below it. The list can also lag the showroom as new models arrive and others are discontinued. Our full guide to reading the PMV Brunei 2026 list explains what to check before relying on any figure in it.
