Which Lexus Cars Are Not Available in Brunei

Lexus UX compact SUV in silver, a model discontinued in Brunei and superseded by the LBX
Four Lexus models are not sold new in Brunei as of August 2026: the NX 250, the LC 500 and the UX 250h, dealer-confirmed with NBT Brunei, and the petrol LS 500 pair. Ten other Lexus model lines remain on sale, from the LBX at BND 61,231 on-the-road (OTR) to the LS 500h at BND 214,877 OTR.

NX 350 F SPORTBND 89,690Available
A note on the two labels. Discontinued means the car was sold in Brunei and has since been withdrawn. Not offered means NBT never sold it here. The LC 500 sits in both camps: the old V8 was sold and discontinued, and its V6 twin-turbo replacement is not offered here.

NX 250

The NX 250 Luxury is no longer in production, dealer-confirmed. NBT ran a dated run-out campaign for it, and it is gone. The entry point into the NX range in Brunei is now the NX 350h at BND 83,604 OTR, with the NX 350 F SPORT at BND 89,690 OTR as the only non-hybrid NX. The limitation: if you specifically wanted the naturally aspirated 2.5 at a lower price point, there is no direct replacement.

LC 500

The 5.0 V8 LC 500 is discontinued in Brunei. It was always a rarity here, priced above BND 200,000. The newer V6 twin-turbo LC is not offered in Brunei and no allocation is expected, a commercial call on a niche coupe in a small market. A price of BND 198,900 still circulates from an old reconciled list; that figure belongs to the departed V8 and should not be treated as a current offer.

UX 250h

The UX 250h is discontinued in Brunei and superseded by the LBX, which sells at BND 61,231 OTR. NBT confirms no units in stock and no future allocation. The limitation buyers should know: the LBX is a smaller car than the UX, so it is a successor by position in the range, not a like-for-like replacement. Anyone searching UX pricing today is looking at a car the distributor cannot supply. Lexus also offers electric options; see Lexus electric vehicles in Brunei.

LS 500 and LS 500 F SPORT

The petrol LS 500 pair is absent from the dealer's Brunei price list, unchanged at the August 2026 re-confirmation. The LS sold here is the LS 500h hybrid at BND 214,877 OTR, which is consistent with the rest of the Brunei sedan lineup: the IS and ES are hybrid-only too. Figures of BND 194,735 and BND 188,495 for the petrol pair still surface in search results, figures that do not appear on the dealer's own price list.

The dealer's website contradicts the dealer's Facebook

Lexus Brunei announced the LC 500 discontinuation on its own Facebook page and ran a dated "before it is gone forever" NX 250 run-out campaign. Yet the NX 250, LC 500 and UX 250h model pages stay live on lexus.com.bn, and a live NBT price-list page still shows the UX 250h at BND 62,862. So AI-generated search summaries keep answering "yes, still sold" for cars NBT confirms are gone. When a distributor website and its Facebook disagree, the dated Facebook post is usually the truth. The model-by-model status above is what NBT confirmed, re-confirmed with the sales agent in August 2026.

Frequently asked questions

Is the Lexus LC 500 discontinued in Brunei?
Yes. The V8 LC 500 was sold here and has been withdrawn, and the newer V6 twin-turbo LC is not offered, with no allocation expected.
What replaced the Lexus UX 250h in Brunei?
The LBX, at BND 61,231 on-the-road (OTR). It is a successor by position in the range rather than a like-for-like replacement, since the LBX is the smaller car.
What is the warranty period for a Lexus in Brunei?
5 years or 150,000 km, with an 8 year or 160,000 km battery warranty and 2 free services, dealer-confirmed with NBT Brunei.
Is there a Lexus ES 250 in Brunei?
No. The ES sold in Brunei is the ES 300h hybrid at BND 79,747 on-the-road (OTR).
